Gathering Knowledge

Peace Research Village Association presentation at Tent of Nations, Bethlehem, Palestine on 05th and 06th April 2008   The vision of the Peace Research Village Association is to bring together technologists, ecologists and social experts to form a global project that re-searches the living structures of a profound and sustainable peace. If it succeeds it will have a dramatic effect not only on the conflict in Israel/Palestine, but in all global conflicts. If it succeeds it will have a dramatic effect on the inner human conflict that is reflected into the world. This 2 day gathering will be a chance to think together about the realisation of a Peace Research Village in the Middle East. What are the next concrete steps? It will also be a chance to understand the concept deeper through speeches from both the founders and cooperation partners.
Speakers: Sabine Lichtenfels: co-founder Tamera peace research centre 'Community building as a base for peace work' Benjamin von Mendelssohn: director Peace Research Village Association 'The idea of concrete models' Vera Kleinhammes: vice-director Peace Research Village Association 'A new culture derives from the heart' Sami Awad: founder The Holy Land Trust, Bethlehem 'A Peace Research Village in Palestine' Daoud Nasser: founder Tent of Nations 'The Vision of the Tent of Nations' Aida Shibli: member Peace Research Village Middle East 'Women's knowledge in support of peace communities'
