Next Steps

Social infrastructure, The current state:

  • Education and training of the core group members within Tamera, Portugal. By experiencing the community model of Tamera the members are developing the trust based social foundation of the PRVME.

  • Fundraising and networking within the Middle East and around the world, while creating circles and coalitions with individuals, organizations and government officials.

  • Positioning of the core group members into professions in order to develop their skills and support the needs of the project.

 

Setting foundation in the Middle East; September 2009- September 2010

  • Seed camp in a temporary location of the core group in the Middle East, in order to experience and train as a community living in a crisis area and to deepen the local grass roots network.

  • Ongoing planning of infrastructure of the PRVME with experts from the fields of: earth building and design, green architecture, waste water management, solar technology and permaculture landscaping.

  • Networking, fundraising and grant writing for infrastructure development and sponsorship of the core group.

 

Physical realization; September 2010- September 2012

  • Construction of the PRVME including the Solar Village, living spaces, communal facilities, waste water systems, landscape and more.

  • Additional ongoing trainings of the core group in leadership, facilitation, permaculture design, conflict resolution, art and education.

  • Prototyping the Peace Academy and regional interface: A pilot stage of courses and workshops facilitated by the PRVME members in cooperation with the local regional area.

 

Development of sustainable economy; September 2011- December 2012

  • Set up of a sustainable regional economic system that will combine various income resources together with self sufficient energy resources and food production.

  • Open International Peace Academy and guest center.
